Lower Klamath Wildlife Refuge 2009-2010 Season Opener
Well headed up for the opener at Lower Klamath Refuge….. Myself, Alan Ward and Justin Davis. Not sure where to set up we scouted the refuge and got an idea for where we wanted to be for the next morning. We ended setting up shop in the 4c unit. Turns out we made a pretty good choice because we shot limits by 8:30 am. We ended up with a mixed bag for limits, Teal, Mallards, Gadwall, and sprig. The birds seemed to be responding to the call very well and had some good up close action for the shooting.
The next day we sat up in the same spot and had the same results. All in all it was a great start for 2009-2010 waterfowl season…. Lets hope that it continues for the rest of the season.
